There are numerous exhibitions in Frankfurt about the subject architecture. Beside the permanent exhibitions in the Deutsches Architekturmuseum, in the Ernst-May-Haus and the exhibition "MainMetropole" in the Historisches Museum many temporary exhibitions take place in the Deutsches Architekturmuseum and at other exhibition venues.

  • "OUT OF STORAGE – Focusing on acquisitions by the Friends of DAM" 22 Novembre 2025 to 1 March 2026 at Deutsches Architekturmuseum

    Since its foundation 40 years ago, the Society of Friends of Deutsches Architekturmuseums (DAM) has been helping expand the museum’s collection – by acting as an intermediary, by acquisitions and donations of plans, drawing, photographs, models, and books.

  • "100 Years of New Frankfurt: Pop-up Presentation" 20 May 2025 to 10 May 2026 at Jüdischen Museum Frankfurt

    In 2025, the city of Frankfurt will celebrate the 100th anniversary of a 1920s modernization campaign programmatically dubbed “New Frankfurt”. The key figures of New Frankfurt were Jewish and secular.

    Since 2007, the DAM Architecture Prize in Germany has annually honored outstanding buildings in Germany.
