European jazz meets other genres and forms of artistic expression. The concert series Jazz in der Milchsackfabrik – the name is a play on the name of a former ink factory in Frankfurt founded by German businessman Carl Milchsack – freely combines live music, performance dance, theatre, film, electronica, literature, and visual art into a collective experience. This experimental and interdisciplinary mix of events is the series’ hallmark.
