With critical look the ensemble delves into the backgrounds of fanaticism and the emerging dictatorial structures and destinies of people living under a dictatorship. Special attention is devoted to the fate of women in countries politically ruled by Islam, such as Iran. And the destinies of people living in exile also constitute a theme of productions, in which professional and amateur players can perform. Theatre here is seen as a fragmentary picture that must be completed by the audience and which embraces other forms of art.
The Daritsche Theatergrupp was founded in 1994 by the playwright and director Niloofar Beyzaie and it has toured throughout Europe since 1996.
