The Frankfurt concert agency, home of the Pro Arte Frankfurt concerts in the main concert hall of the “Alte Oper”, is one of the foremost organisers of cultural events in Frankfurt and the Rhine-Main area. Pro Arte Frankfurt features internationally acclaimed orchestras and soloists as well as young musicians at the beginning of promising international careers, which account for many of the musical top events in the city’s cultural calendar.
The beginnings of the “Frankfurter Konzertdirektion” go back to the 19th century when what started as a friendship between the music-loving banker Hermann Wolff and the famous pianist Anton Rubinstein became a successful joint venture.
