Due to its success of recent years the NIGHT OF THE MUSEUMS now occupies a firm place in Frankfurt's culture calendar.

More than 40 museums and exhibition houses in Frankfurt and Offenbach show their qualities at an unconventional time. From 19.00h until 2.00h the next morning the public is invited to go on a culture tour - accompanied by music, readings, performances, theatre, workshops, video installations and parties. Special guided tours of the current exhibitions and gastronomic specialities round off the programme.

Not only their contents make the Frankfurt museums predestined for night-time cultural enjoyment, but also their location. The majority of the City's museums virtually rub shoulders along the Museumsufer, the Main riverbank. A complimentary shuttle bus service connects all establishments, so that even those off the beaten track can be reached easily.

Tickets for the Night of the Museums are available around two weeks prior to the event from all participating museums, from the information offices of Tourismus + Congress GmbH and all advance booking offices. Admission is free incidentally for Museumsufer Cardholders.
