The Interior Innovation Award has existed since 2003 and is awarded at the International Furniture Fair in Cologne in cooperation with the German Design Council, Frankfurt. The Award pays tribute to innovative achievements in the furnishing sector. In addition to design and technology, innovative material and detail solutions and product concepts are further yardsticks.

The Award addresses all exhibitors at the imm cologne. Prizes are awarded in various categories.

Among the category winners awarded with the Interior Innovation Award Cologne, five products are honoured with the »Best of the Best« of the Interior Innovation Award Cologne and receive a prize sculpture.
