In cooperation with the German Association of the Toy Industry, the Designforum, Nuremberg awards the German Design Prize for Wooden Toys. The Prize is awarded annually since 1993 during the International Toy Fair in Nuremberg Objective of the competition is to honour outstanding design achievements in the toy sector and simultaneously make the public at large more familiar with the benefits of the material wood.
Participation:
Manufacturers and designers of wooden toys are invited to enter.
Prizes and awards:
The German Design Prize for Wooden Toys is a recognition for outstanding design. Winners of the Prize for outstanding design in the toy sector are presented in the special show »Wood – Playing and Learning«.
