Berliner Type is organized by the Kommunikationsverband e.V. (Communication Association) and it recognizes the strategic planning, creative implementation and technical execution of printed materials in the German language and multi-lingual publications that contain German. The printed materials should have been published in the previous year for the first time. Judging takes place in various categories (e.g. graphic design/typography/advertising etc.).
Conditions of entry:
Entry is open to agencies, consultants, creative persons, graphic designers, photographers, printers and other service providers and their clients in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Prizes and awards:
The number of prizes is determined by the jury. Gold, Silver and Bronze may be awarded in the individual categories of Berliner Type. Diplomas are awarded for outstanding individual achievements.
