European Central Bank ECB European Cultural Days

The ECB’S European Cultural Days seek to enhance awareness of Europe’s rich cultural heritage and the shared history of the European continent. Since 2003 the Cultural Days have been organized in close cooperation with the City of Frankfurt.

Each year, the ECB events focus on a different EU member state. During the autumn months, Frankfurt’s cultural venues host a wide range of music, dance and theatre performances. The ECB Cultural Days also offer art talks, exhibitions, literary events, and films, as well as events for children. All events are organised by the ECB in conjunction with the national central bank of the respective guest country and supported by a number of partners committed to promoting culture and the arts in Europe.
