The Redesign of the Deutsches Filmmuseum
The Deutsches Filmmuseum in Frankfurt am Main has undergone complete structural redevelopment until spring 2011 and received a new permanent exhibition. 25 years after it first opened, the film institution’s interior redesigned; the public display areas grew by 30 % to a total of 1.900 square metres. The third floor, today used as offices, being the most attractive floor with views of the unique skyline, are now the space for temporary exhibitions.
