Reading Podiums

Stirring short stories, brisk spoken work performances, the rhyming and non-rhyming, pop & poetry, trash & experiment is what the podium “Word&SoundPatternHangout” offers each month in "Ehemaliges Gefängnis Klapperfeld" in Klappergasse 5.

Readings are also regularly staged at Raum 121 – usually interdisciplinary linked with music, film, scientific debate or art.

At "Lesebühne Ihres Vertrauens“ short texts are read that were thought up in the privacy of the respective reader’s head. "Lesebühne Ihres Vertrauens“ takes place on every 2nd Sunday of the month at the Ponyhof (Klappergasse).

Poetry Slam Frankfurt is an open on-stage competition for literary short texts where the public awards points for texts and presentation and thereby nominates a winner. 

Every year on a Sunday in April or May Frankfurt’s literary publishers present themselves in schauspielfrankfurt.
