Since 2007 the annual Artists in Residence Exhibition is being held at Atelierfrankfurt each year in November. On display in this exhibition are the artworks of the artists from the partner cities who participated in the Artist in Residence Program during the current year. Most of the artworks which are presented in the show were created by the artists in the studios above the Kulturbunker at Schmickstraße during the time of their stay in Frankfurt.
This years show presented the artworks of Alpine Gothic mit Christina Breitfuß, Erik Hable, Wolfgang Wirth from Salzburg, Olivier Foulon from Antwerpen, Isabella Kresse from Vienna, Johanna MacDonald from Helsinki, Patrick Meyer from Straßburg, Kwang Mo Lim from Seoul, Anamarija Obradovic from Dubrovnik, Kata Tranker and Adam Albert from Budapest, who were part of the Artist in Residence Program. In exchange these artists from Frankfurt went to work abroad: Levent Kunt to Straßburg, Flo Maak to Dubrovnik, Andreas Rohrbach to Vienna, Lionel Röhrscheid to Salzburg, Ryan Siegan Smith to Antwerpen, Rebecca Ann Tess to Seoul, Federico Del Vecchio to Helsinki and Friederike Walter to Budapest.
